Internal Audit Section

This section is responsible for ensuring proper internal control and auditing of the Municipal Council by maintaining daily checks over all financial activities of the Municipality and devising ways to ensure compliance with established financial procedures.

The Internal Auditor who is responsible for the section is accountable to the Council through the Chief Executive and has to report on any irregularities and discrepancies noted.
