                | A | Press notices are launched during period September-October 
                  every year. Posters are affixed within the township. Information 
                  is also available at the Welfare Desk of the Department and 
                  at Municipal Kindergartens. Parents will therefore be requested 
                  to fill in an application form. | 
               
                | Q | We are religious/cultural/social groups. We want 
                  to organize socio/cultural/religious activities. How can we 
                  obtain assistance from the Council? | 
               
                | A | The type of assistance should be clearly specified in your 
                  letter addressed to the Chief Executive three weeks prior to 
                  the event. The request will be tabled at Council and therefore 
                  notified to the addressee. You should call at the Welfare Department 
                  together with particulars to fill in the application forms. | 
               
                | Q | We are members of sports clubs of the town and we 
                  want to make use of Municipal Sports complexes/infrastructures 
                  of the town. What should we do? | 
               
                | A | Sports complexes/infrastructures are put only at the disposal 
                  of clubs which are affiliated with the Council or residents 
                  of the town. For affiliation applicants will have to call at 
                  the Welfare Department to fill in, appropriate form. A roster 
                  is normally established for the use of Municipal Sports Grounds. 
                  For the use of indoor courts (badminton/squash) access cards 
                  are issued every three months. | 
               
                | Q | What are the procedures to follow for the lease of 
                  Municipal Infrastructures (e.g Municipal Reception Hall)? | 
               
                | A | For a provisional booking, the applicant has to call at the 
                  Welfare Department where upon confirmation; the latter will 
                  follow the required procedures. | 
               
                | Q | I want to hold a meeting with members of my association 
                  in a Municipal Social Centre. What should I do? | 
               
                | A | Applications need to be forwarded to the 
                  Welfare Department through the Chief Executive, subsequently 
                  applications will be informed of the availability/non availability 
                  of the hall. | 
               
                | Q | Are there any course for the benefit 
                  of school leavers or housewives? | 
               
                | A | In order to enroll to courses in typewriting, shorthand, sewing, 
                  embroidery, the residents of the town are requested to call 
                  at the Welfare Department to fill in an application form and 
                  submit additional relevant information. |
